Community Access Services
Community Access Services are designed to help individuals acquire, retain or improve self-help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active participation and independent functioning outside the home. The goal of services is to help the person learn or improve their skills in personal care, being independent, socializing with others, adjusting to community life, using resources in their community, and becoming independent outside his/her home. Community Access Services are individually planned to meet the individual’s needs, wants and preferences.
